Dec. 31st, 2006

Its that time of day again.

Holy shit its almost New Years!

I've firmly established my opinion amongst my family that 2006 was boring hell hole of a year. And interestingly, I'm perfectly willing to pretend that it never happened. The places, the people, the things, and the multiple attempts to get me to open up, all in the past. Everything. I'm going to start out new with 2007, whatever that means. Because seriously, being a kind, concerned, and loving character these years will get you nowhere fast.

So here's to 2007; may you be full of guilt-free thoughts and smoke enough cigarettes to destroy the ozone and drink enough Jack Daniels to drown the world.

And on another note, if you in fact do know who Moby is, the great Ambient/Electronic master of sorts, please listen that song I'm listening to right now, because its just great. Period.

Waiting for my life to begin

Lj is out, Facebook is in. The only reason I will update this is because of the RSS feed option on Facebook which is so fucking cool. Last nights dance was pretty much the best one Carnegies had. Good job student council.

Memories thingy.

Leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember! Don't send a message, leave a comment on here. Next, re-post this in your notes and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool (and funny) to see the responses.

Camp Candlelighters at Cliff

Oh man, best weekend ever. I went to Camp Cliff for the Candlelighters Association. At first I thought it might be a huge waste of time but it was actually really really great. The weather is so nice out there and the people are really friendly. There was much laughing, crying, fun, and fireworks. I just have to go there next year, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had.

Bah!

Jesus fucking christ, today was one of THE WORST SHFL shows ever. Except for Brains for Dinner who were exceptionally good. I saw Obi which was a plus but i didnt get to see his show because had to give rides. After I came back the show just kind of died off and when Dumbarton played nothing happened. No one was quite moshing. Oh and also, the place reaked of fucking weed. I really think everyone was high. Some people even had their panties off...Ugh. I went outside to get some fresh air and seriously...not cool. It was like the air was replaced by smoke. I made a few phone calls to see if anyone wanted to come but i lost my voice today and I guess they couldnt hear my because it was cracking up and it was being passed around like a blunt. I should of stayed home because I am really really sick. So now Im here. Typing this and yeah...today I really noticed the real faces of certain people. Im ashamed.

So sleepy...

Yup thats pretty much all I did this three day weekend. I didnt sleep once...or I did but only for an hour when everyone left to go buy food. What a waste of time.

Sword and stone

Today, while walking back from work, i saw a man and a woman on a motorcyle who passed by me walking and then stopped at a light. as they passed, i thought i saw the woman holding a bundle of blankets and i thought, dear lord! is she carrying a baby on that thing?! how dangerous!

i kept walking to get a closer look.

the bundle's head moved and i thought i saw ears. oh great, dont tell me its a dog. probably one of those stupid freaking chiuauahoweveryouspellit that everyones carrying around nowadays. has that trend honestly made it all the way to south dakota?? you konw its gotta be bad if thats the case.

the truth, however, was even worse.

it was a parrot.

yep. a large, white parrot. just chillin there on the woman's arm on the back of the bike, lookin around. what i thought were ears, were tufts of feathers.

no clue if maybe they maybe decided to buy it on the spur of the moment while out shopping, or if this is a regular outing for the bird, or what other explanation there could possibly be.

well when i get a parrot and a motorcycle hell totally ride with me. it'd be oakie and parrots adentures in life.

Inactions

"So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half- asleep, even when they're busy doing things they think are important. This is because they're chasing the wrong things. The way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning."

One of the best things ive heard in my lifetime.

aside from...

"There is one singer called Shakira… sorry I laugh because in Kazakhstan this word means vagina. For example, ‘Can I touch your shakira?’ or ‘I have seen your wife’s shakira, it hangs like the mouth of a tired dog."

and

"My 13-year-old son is travelling here by foot, with his two wives and his three childrens.” “If he survives the journey I have promised him that he can make penetration with Colombian prostitute Shakira."

She's a man eater :-/

So today was a great day. Started off by waking up with a massive nuclear headache, prolly because I finally merged my xbox live to live gold and got to play online on my 360 for the FIRST TIME yesterday. And probably because I had like a BILLION people over. Oh man I didnt go to sleep until 5 am, so much fun. So woke up around 9 and we went to Denny's to eat breakfast in Joe's pimp-mobile and ate some tasty panacakes with bacon. Then we drove over to the Galleria to go meet up with some Lamar summer school people. Walked around for a few hours and I swear I saw Wade mooning people going up the glass elevator. Highlight of my day. After all that we went to the movies and saw Crank which by the way is a must see.

I also learned that randomly calling people names and changing mac wallpapers will get you kicked out of the Apple store

I like Blueberry yogurt

CRANK=Some bad ass shit.

Push it to the limit, past the point to no return

Sorrow drips into your heart through a pinhole, just like a faucet that leaks and there is comfort in the sound.

Yup.

Hey, has anyone seen the Emo kid video? Its hillarious. I think everyoen should see it.

How I wish I had a time machine.

I don't know who you are anymore. Shocked me quite a bit really. However the rain today made me happy. Walked down Heights Blvd with Michie and her friend in the rain. Rain always makes me happy. Tomorrow I'll be going to this thing at the Marriot involving Vassar or Rensaelear admissions(sp?). The councelor says there'll be ice cream so im theres no way im missing that.

So my neighbor wants us to come over and have dinner and ride horses. Fun stuff. Hope I dont fall off and break a leg.

It ain't you.

They say there's something about me.
It's something in my smile...
They say there's something about me.
I say, 'yeah well it's not you.'
They say there's something about me,
say it's something in the way I shine.
They say there's something about me,
I say, 'Yeah, well it's not you.'

I'm not smiling 'cause you're charming,
I'm not flattered that you're here.
I admire your persistence,
but I'm not breaking dear.
You can stay around if you want to,
but I'd rather you just go.
'Cause buddy,
you ain't the reason for why I glow...

-Mai

Now, doesnt this sound like a fancy break-up letter? I'll make sure to use this next time I need it. Thank you Mai. Heheh

Its quite alright.

I've got three or four weeks left. My grades are doing extremely well and I'm still not happy. Ive also been running quite alot lately. After work I ran like about 4 miles without stopping and It's quite an achievement for me. Ive been noticing recently that I'm a very angry person, I really need to take a chill pill.

And the cow said moo.
Yeah I've got nothing

Ich muß gehen, bestrafe Mich....I have no Idea

I am hating the world right now. I hate the weather, its hot and humid and it blows like a girlfriend from Vietnam. Im reading Things Fall Apart and I'm finding it confusing to keep up with all the weird names. For example Okonkwo and Ezinma. Pretty weird names I know.

So Im sitting here and wondering, Why do all the books we have to read insist on being minority based. Im sick and tired of it. They try to be so politicaly correct. Well I better get back to reading.

New schedule.

Ok so school...yeah I feel like I can do alot better this year. But the thing is, ive got two weeks to decide wether i should stay or I should go. I knew that If I started the year at Carnegie I was going to begin to have doubts about leaving so thats why I didn't even want to start the year there. Ack. Now my dads all pressuring me "youve got two weeks left" and shit. Whateva, like I give a shit anymore. :(

So my schedule goes like this

1. Algebra 2 Barnes
2. AP English III Peterson (great teacher)
3. Computer Science Schenke (awesome class)
4. Spanish 2 Falkinator
5. AP US History Dewey (yelled at me for not having new schedule)
6. Physics Oh God Krieger
7. SAT Peterson

Im happy with my schedule. I wanted to get out of SAT but I think it'll help me in the long run. Its getting very interesting in there.
